ABOUT THE CURATOR
Andrew Connors
Andrew directed and co-wrote Shipyards Lament, for CBC Newsworld’s ‘Roughcuts’ in 2002. It won the best film ‘Made in the Yukon’ award at the 2002 Dawson City International Short Film Festival. His first film, Hands, Head, Heart (1998) and more recently Facing Miles Canyon (2004) can be seen on Bravo! Television in Canada. Currently, he and Yukon singer-songwriter, Kim Barlow have been presenting luckyburden: songs & film, a live music and film performance about 20th century life in the silver mining towns of Keno City and Elsa, in cities across Canada. He is in post-production on his first short drama, Artifacts, a mystery film set in Keno City. Andrew lives in Whitehorse, Yukon.
